We made Poppies!!!!
Yesterday we made some ceramic poppies! These wonderful flowers will be part of a display that will be laid in the grounds of Ynysangharad War Memorial park creating a walk of remembrance in commemoration of our armed forces past and present. We had a fabulous time manipulating the clay, rolling it out, cutting around a template, blending pieces together and shaping our flowers. We look forward to finishing them off with colours and glazes in a couple of weeks.
Our trip to Swansea!
A great day in Swansea for years 5 and 6 experiencing and learning about life in WW1. The 'White Feather' play was an experience they'll never forget!
